I...I have to admit (born in Woodstock, you know...) I still get choked up at the end of that song. But it's nostalgia. In fact, I never knew (and it's possible my parents didn't know) the stoner connection until very late in my life. My parents did none of that during the '60s. How they managed to stay so naive in the midst of 1960s Woodstock, I'll never know!<BR/><BR/>You know what else gets me choked up? The folk songs from that era like Wabash Cannonball and This Land is Your Land. I have a kids CD that has remakes of some of those, and I love to play them for QQ, but my eyes get red and puffy every time. Reminds me of my dad. I still have it memorized (obviously) and it is imprinted on my brain.
