Two recommendations:

1. Move his nap back a little bit in case he just needs longer to get tired.

2. Keep at it. Titan dropped the nap completely for close to 2 months. We still made him lay down everyday and rest, though. A year later, he still naps over 2 hours.

See you soon!

ValiSugar Mommahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13787613191914701469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-355113191837674779.post-41363341953671741002008-02-11T08:03:00.000-07:002008-02-11T08:03:00.000-07:00Charlie is trying to do this too, but we are getti...Charlie is trying to do this too, but we are getting in a good routine. He is sleeping on his own at night, but for naptime, we are in Mommy's bed from about 12:30 until about 2:30. I really need a nap most days. Anyway, even if I fall asleep first, he lies there and rests. He usually falls asleep after about 45 minutes. I wake up a lot and look at him. So we both get a nap. I don't know WHY he doesn't sneak away, but he seems to get the idea, so I feel comfortable with it. It depends on Sid though. If he won't rest with you, then it would be impossible and this huge long comment is no help at all. :(
I hope it gets better!whatever_heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06976633997537872632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-355113191837674779.post-91544069869719878712008-02-10T23:54:00.000-07:002008-02-10T23:54:00.000-07:00Oh no, no, no. Otherwise you have the right to cry Mama.Mama Papayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08928718208052597051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-355113191837674779.post-20489849680533091932008-02-10T16:40:00.000-07:002008-02-10T16:40:00.000-07:00Nope. And I'm just your run of the mill tired, not growing a baby tired.

Came across your blog through Heather's in GA.

Also, we are also reading Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.
