Sidamo: Julian, do you believe in God?
Julian (6-year-old next-door neighbor/best friend): No, do you?
Sidamo: I don't believe in God. I believe in the Piston Cup.
Combine this with Nora's, "We don't go to church; we go to hotels," and I think we've earned an A+ in religious education.

What do you tell them about god/church/...?
Stormy, we use a lot of "Some people believe …" and let them know that they'll develop their own beliefs as they learn about the world. We tell them that Greg and I don't believe in god, but lots of people do and someday they might, too.
